Looks like he caught Dinner!! Not sure what it is, maybe part of a fish!

I love watching and taking pictures of the Great Blue Heron, they are magnificent birds!

Only a couple days before the 4th of July, I hope everyone doesn’t have to work and plans to spend time having fun! Maybe grilling out with the family and friend!

      • Yes, thank you for asking, Michael. A little progress each day….
Are you ready for the weather? We are looking forward to some rain, and wish the wind to stay out to sea… best wishes, WG

        • Thank you, Michael- You, too! All plans for Friday are shut down here, with picnics and fireworks rescheduled for Saturday- which is wise. I had planned to return to visit family today, but decided to stay off the roads and get things in order here. We know we finally have rain on the way 😉 and hope that is the extent of it; but know we’ll have at least some wind as well. So long as Jim Cantore doesn’t roll into town, we’ll know we’ll be OK 😉 Take care,

          E

    • The timeshare we have is near the Shipyard golf course, these pictures were taken at the golf course at a huge lake that is surrounded by thick trees. All along the lake shore line nearly on top of each other the Heron built nest. It’s like this every year. I hope you and your have a Happy 4th! 🙂

    • Good evening Allen, These pictures were taken at the golf course at a huge lake that is surrounded by thick trees. All along the lake shore line nearly on top of each other the Heron build nest. Most of the nest were about 10 to 20 feet above the water. It’s like this every year. Arthur is suppose to leave us rain all day tomorrow.
