Gorgeous photos, Michael. Is everyone having a great time? There must be a lot of unspoiled natural areas for there to be so many wonderful birds there. Best wishes, WG
Wonderful images Michael—especially the heron ? bird, leaning forward on it’s beak almost like a bowing courtesy —has me longing for the ocean 🙂
Thank you for sharing—big hugs–Julie
Your pictures are beautiful! I did not make it to the beach yet! We like to visit the Gulf Coast in the fall, though I have been in all seasons. Our favorite place is Seaside, Florida, a charming community with an extraordinarily beautiful beach.
Michael, I barely made it off my verandah this year, and when I did, I got lost! (smile) So I’m living vicariously — through my blogger friends like you.
Living in the generally cooler climes of the UK, I tend to like beaches with long walks and beautiful views. One such beach for me is Newborough Warren on Anglesey the small island just off the coast of North Wales. I have posted about this beach before on my blog. It’s stunning.
Beautiful photos. We spend a lot of time at Hampton Beach, New Castle Beach and Lake Winnepesaukee – all good spots. Of course I’ve never seen a beach or lake I couldn’t enjoy. 🙂
thank you Judy! I had to Google your places, they look beautiful and I bet are a great place to spend time! I love the beach, lakes and mountains too! 🙂
I love the beach in Galveston! Of course I also enjoyed the one in the Bahamas on the Grand Island and Key West is nice as well. Those bird pictures are gorgeous!
Beautiful photos! 🙂 Yes, I did make it to the beach this summer… Manhattan Beach in California. It’s my 2nd favorite beach to visit, my favorite being Seaside, Florida. Hope you get your site tweaked and are up and running again soon. 🙂
beautiful scenes! no, i did not make it to a beach, but i do enjoy our pondside views. 🙂
thank you Tex, I wish I had a pond like yours!

I love Seaside Florida, we usual visit there every couple of years! Great place to vacation.
No, I sure wish I had though. 🙂
Good morning Natalie! It’s still not too late to get to the beach. I also enjoy going in the fall and winter 🙂

Good afternoon Cynthia! I understand… I get lost too especially when I have had one to many coffee and Kahlua 🙂
I wouldn’t mind getting lost if I had Kahlua with my coffee….

I love long walks on the beach, especially in the winter when it is cool 🙂 I am headed to your blog again to check out Newborough Warren on Anglesey!
No beach holiday this year, but love the East coast of the UK and seeing oystercatchers and terns swooping over the sand dunes!
Seeing the oystercatchers and terns sounds great! 🙂
Sadly no trips to the beach for me this year. I love the birds there. The ones with the tall legs like in the 1st photo fascinate me.
Hello Ida! Me too, I love watching them and taking pictures of them too! 🙂
We have Hampton Beach here but it’s about 2 hours away so I haven’t been there for awhile. Nice photos!
Sounds nice, you should try to visit there before winter! 🙂
I made it to Miami in May, but no beaches this summer. We saw mountains but no oceans on our latest trip…maybe next year!
All the way to Miami and no beach, lots of great restaurant’s in Miami! I enjoy the mountains a lot! 🙂

Never been to Galveston but I always enjoy vacationing in the Bahamas and Key West! 🙂

Hello Carolyn! thank you, I love Manhattan Beach, we visited there about 3 years ago!
