Snow Clouds?

Good evening everyone! The clouds enveloped us just before dark with a light misty rain. The temperature at 5:45 was 49 degrees. Our weather forecast continues to show a winter weather advisory  in effect until tomorrow at 1:00 PM with possible snow and ice accumulations.

This could be our snow of the year!

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

    • Yes, it is early but two years ago on October 29th we had 3 inches of snow!! You gotta remember that we are on a mountain in the Appalachian Mountains! I wish I had one of your cup cakes!!! Have a great weekend!!

  1. Our snow is a bit late this year! We haven’t had snow in town yet, but the past few years we’ve had it as early as October 4th! It’s been snowing in the Cascades about 30 miles from here, though, for a few weeks.

  2. Lovely clouds among the pine trees.

Michael, we’ve been having snow showers on and off all afternoon and evening and strong winds. It didn’t deter the trick-or-treaters, however! At 10:00 p.m., it is 34 degrees with a 25 mph wind out of the northwest, and a wind chill of 22! I dug out the snow pants today. 😀

  3. What a fantastic photo! Michael, that could be your photo of the year! You are much colder than we are. We dropped to 49 around 8PM, but it was still nearly 60 at 5:30. Sure hope this storm isn’t as bad as it is predicted to be. Stay warm! Best, WG

  4. We have had snow at the end of October before now, but with the third warmest October on record no signs of it here yet! Have a good weekend and stay warm Michael!
