Favorite Lunch

Lauren was married on Saturday, she was very beautiful, the dress was gorgeous on her and she is very happy! She had a outdoor wedding, with an inside wedding reception dinner. They are now gone on their honeymoon but she will be home on Saturday evening!

When we are at the beach we enjoy eating boiled shrimp and oysters on the half shell! Today for lunch we decide to share both! Love both the shrimp and oysters, both are great with a cold beer too! 🙂

Today the temperature is now at 100 degrees F with a 112 heat index, almost too hot to be outside. The Atlantic Ocean is like bath water and the pool water is hot at 87 degrees F. Looking for late afternoon rain showers to cool everything off!

Hilton Head is a great place to vacation!

  1. YAY!!! Congratulations Michael!!!
I did manage to think of y’all Saturday, wishing and praying good thoughts ya’ll’s way despite the craziness I was living with Dad in Atlanta!
The shrimp looks divine—not an oyster fan, but they do look good—wash them down with something good and cold 🙂
    Enjoy!!!
Heading back myself over the 4th!! Woooowhoooooo!!!

  2. Congratulations Michael, sounds like a beautiful bride and wedding. Those shrimp look sooooo good, not an oyster fan but I bet they went down nicely. It’s really hot there, try to stay cool.

  3. We attended a wedding in Hilton Head just a few years ago and had a wonderful time! The ceremony was at a beautiful small chapel about a 20 minute drive away on a historic site and there were fresh shucked oysters at the reception. Wonderful memories! Funny, I just made a shrimp boil for our dinner last night 🙂
