We had a beautiful sunrise this morning with cool temperatures in the low 60’s F. Light rain last night cooled off everything but today our high is supposed to get to 89 degrees F with afternoon showers.
Below is a Black Walnut and Hard Rock Maple end grain cutting board. This end grain cutting board is 10 inches x 15 inches x 1-1/2 thick and has finger pulls on each end making it easier to lift off the counter.
This afternoon we had the most amazing sunset! Temperatures tonight are suppose to get down to 14 degrees! Last night we had 19 degrees with a wind chill of 10 degrees. I believe winter is early for nearly all of the US and there are record snow falls, temperatures and wind chills.

I had to go back to the beach again this week for a few days but this time I went to Pawleys Island. It is so beautiful there, almost a beautiful as Hilton Head Island. The above picture is a sunrise over the Atlanta ocean taken from the deck.

Our sunset yesterday afternoon was spectacular. Cooler temperatures rolled in late yesterday evening giving us a low temperature this morning at 38 degrees! Today’s high is only suppose to be 59 degrees.
Acorns and hickory nuts are all down on the ground, the deer and squirrels are having a good time eating them. The leaves are turning brown and falling. Doesn’t looks like we will have the beautiful color leaves this year.
It’s turn fall, our low temperature have been in the mid to upper 40’s degrees F all week. It won’t be long and the leaves will be changing.
Yesterday afternoon we had a shower and then this beautiful rainbow appeared with the sun in the background. It was stunning and made me smile 🙂

We had another beautiful sunset yesterday! I think fall is going to be earlier for us this year, we are already having cooler day and night temperatures. Last night we had a low temperature of 65 degrees F.
The leaves have started falling, acorns, hickory nuts and walnut are falling too. It won’t be long before we have the beautiful fall leaf colors!

After an extremely rainy day yesterday, the clouds have moved on and shared the beautiful blue sky this morning! The rain last night chilled things off a bit and brought temperatures around 59 degrees F this morning. It is light jacket weather but the morning is starting out sunny. Along with the cool temperature we have a beautiful blue sky!

It’s a beautiful morning with temperatures at 43 degrees F and is suppose to warm today to the low 50’s. Could spring be around the corner?

It was a bitter cold cloudy winter morning today but not as cold as yesterday. Our low yesterday was 4 degrees and today is was 13 degrees, I think we have a warming trend!
