WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
We are located in the beautiful northern upstate rural area of Greenville, South Carolina on a mountain.

HOW DO I ORDER?
You do not have to complete an order form, just email me at michaelswoodcraft@yahoo.com with the items you want to purchase along with your shipping address. I will then determine shipping cost along with lead time then send you back an email with the total cost.

For payment, click the Paypal logo to link to PayPal. You will need my email address and the total.  If you plan to pay by cashier’s check, etc. please let me know in your email and I will include instructions. Click the Paypal logo below to make payment. All you will need is my email address and the total amount to use PayPal.

Please let me know if you would like insurance. I do not insure packages unless requested, if you would like insurance please let me know. FedEx charges for insurance. If an item is damaged in transit and you did not elect insurance, I can not be responsible for damages. You must file claim with the shipping carrier.

HOW DO YOU SHIP?
We primary use FedEx for shipping,  FedEx also has a better home delivery service and delivers Tuesday thru Saturday.

ONCE I PAY, HOW CAN I GUARANTEE THAT I WILL RECEIVE MY ORDER?
We promise you will receive your order. I ship twice a week, most all orders ship within 7 to 10 days except for engraving orders and custom/non stock items. Please visit our testimonial page. Check out my Find Us page where customers have posted pictures of my boards on their website or Instagram

HOW LONG WILL MY BOARD STAY NEW LOOKING?
As you use your board, the more worn it will look with scratches and knife markings, this is normal. All orders come with care instructions and our Wood Conditioner to help you keep your board from drying out! Care instructions can be found here, click here.

HOW SHOULD I CARE MY BOARD?
It’s very easy to take care of your board, check out our Wood Conditioner page for care instructions. My Wood Conditioner is an all natural finish and I use it on all my boards but it will not prevent or remove stains. If you are looking for a hard finish I would suggest a ‘Salad Bowl’ finish. It is a hard and glossy finish and will last a long time, it will also help to prevent staining of the wood. The Salad Bowl finish is food safe but like all finishes it will eventually wear. The Salad Bowl finish is more costly, requires 4-5 coats and takes 24 hours to dry between each coat. If you are interest in the Salad Bowl finish, email me and I will be glad to give you a quote.

HOW DO YOU FINISH EACH BOARDS?
We finish all boards with a food safe mineral oil, then seal with food grade mineral oil and food grade beeswax.

HOW WILL YOU PACKAGE MY ORDER?
Each piece is wrapped in craft paper and bubble wrap if needed, packed into a box with packaging materials all around the board to help insure it arrives safely. Every package shipped also has Fragile labels on the outside of the box.

WHAT IS THE LEAD TIME ONCE I PLACE MY ORDER?
All of my items are handcrafted one at a time once I receive an order. Normal lead time is 7 to 10 days (except Holidays) but could be a little longer based on my current work schedule and number of orders I have in hand at the time or special engraving. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept PayPal, USPS Money Orders, and Cashier’s Checks. Personal checks are acceptable but we have to delay shipment until your check clears. If you’d like to use a different form of payment, just contact us!

WHAT ARE THE SHIPPING COST AND WHERE DO YOU SHIP?
We ship within the United States and Canada only. The total shipping cost is based on your delivery address zip code, weight of package, commercial, residential or extended rural residential delivery for ground service. If you would like a service other then ground, please let me know. We do not make money on shipping, the shipping cost we give you is what we have to pay.

Before ordering, please email me with your order details and your complete shipping address so I can give you the shipping cost before payment, please email me at michaelswoodcraft@yahoo.com . We do not ship to PO Box addresses and we do not ship USPS. Our preferred carrier is FedEx.

Please note: We strongly suggest if you do not have a secure area for your packages to be delivered to you that you request signature required when shipped to insure delivery to you. There is a charge for signature required service. We can not be responsible for missing packages after delivery. You are solely responsible for the end result of receiving the package once it leaves our possession. Our delivery confirmation receipt will serve as the completion of our transaction.

MY PACKAGE HASN’T ARRIVED BUT THE TRACKING # SAYS IT HAS BEEN DELIVERED?
Please contact your FedEx office as we are not responsible for lost, misplaced, stolen packages or damage.

CAN I USE YOUR IMAGES?
Yes, but we ask that you contact us first by Email with all the details, links, etc. and credit us back and also add a link back to our site. We also love to see our images used on Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.

RETURNS?
I personally pack each and every item shipped, from selecting the right size box, packing materials to protect the item and taping the box properly. Insurance is available for each package shipped at a cost but you must request insurance when requesting pricing. Once shipped, the package  contents belong to the purchaser. Michael’s Woodcraft is not responsible for damage by the carrier, i.e. FedEx.

Returns are accepted within 24 hours of receipt of the package, you must email me within 24 hours. Please include a written explanation for the return. Item(s) must be in it original condition with no damage, cuts etc. Package item(s) securely, and ship with tracking back to me. Upon receipt of the returned item, I will inspect and will issue a refund for the cost of the item (buyer pays shipping). If there is an issue with the items condition I will email you.

    I am overwhelmed by your work! I’m writing from Austin Texas where ice cream is breakfast, lunch and dinner right now:) We are traveling to our camp in MA on July 30th and I would love to take an engraved ice cream scoop with us! I love the patriots handle although I would be happy with anything available for the short notice. I would like to have:
