The Siberian Iris this year are very beautiful but it seems that they have more foliage than flowers! I took a few photographs yesterday after a mid day rain, you can see a few water drops in the photos.
I also have more baby iris plants than I need, it appears all the rain we had last year scatted the seed everywhere!
Cathy at Words and Herbs posted jus the other day about her new garden wheels, so I thought I would post a picture of mine too! Cathy has a wonderful site, she loves gardening too!
My white rhododendron are about to bloom as well as a couple of my Japanese Iris, hope to post a few pictures later in the week. 🙂
Check out my Bluebird Houses, they make great gifts and you will enjoy watching the Bluebird nest! Building Bluebird Houses are fun and rewarding.
your iris are pretty! i have a red cart that i use for toting firewood, chopped hay, feed bags, you name it. 🙂
thank you Tex! The carts sure are handy and save time plus your back! I wouldn’t trade my cart unless it was for a new one! 🙂
You are a jack of all trades Michael 🙂
thank you Julie! 🙂
Love the Iris shots…and I dig the new wheels!
I love the iris too! 🙂
Very nice!
I once had a patch of Siberian Iris. It’s been eaten up by the lemon balm! Yours look beautiful!
Oh no.. I had a patch that disappeared at the creek banks, never knew what happen maybe it was lemon balm too.
I love your old cart Michael! They are excellent pieces of equipment – not just for the gardener. Thanks for the link. The iris photo with the rain drops is very pretty. 😀
thank you Cathy! 🙂
I’ve wondered if more leaves than blooms is a result of the plant being too shaded.
Maybe, the pictures are of iris that get afternoon sun only but in the past years they have done very well.
Your irises are beautiful and I love the birdhouse.
Just beautiful!
